"My husband and I recently purchased our new home. We also sold our first home. Chris Ohlig was our realtor and did an amazing job! He was very responsive and quick to answer all our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He was very knowledgeable about the area. He helped ease our anxiety and walked us through each step of the process. We really appreciate all he did and he will be our realtor for life!"
"Chris was extremely helpful in our search for a home to rent. We had very specific criteria for the house we wanted (no carpet, fenced yard, pets allowed, large open floor plan, located within a 10 mile radius of work and great neighborhood. We needed all of that under our small budget. He sent us a list of eligible homes soon as they came available every week and made appointments right away. We found our house on a Saturday and were moving in by the following Saturday. Chris even helped us by providing boxes he had available, booked a carpet & house cleaner, and helped us locate a refrigerator and delivered it personally! Wonderful experience with Chris!"
"Chris was quick to respond even after hours and on the weekends. I was in a rush to find a new home because Chris was very quick in selling my previous home. He took his time to educate me on things I should consider in the purchasing process and made everything very simple and easy for me. Found me a great home for a great price!"
"I am very pleased with my experience with Christopher Ohlig!! I gave him specific criteria and he found the perfect place for me. He went above and beyond my expectations and I love the place I am renting. I love my children's schools, and my neighbors are wonderful. I couldn't be happier because of Chris. I recommend him quite often, best realtor in the area!!!"
"Here is a simple story: My house was listed with a Remax Agent (for more than a year) who was very unprofessional and treated the property like 'if it sells, I get my commision and if it does not, who cares'. Not once did I hear a sale's speech. Chris had approached me after I decided to sell the property myself and I told him I was not interested given my previous experience with my Remax Agent. In spite of this, he followed up with finding out if I was making any progress, offerred tips and even helped with assisting with an 'open house' at no cost. I then decided to formally list my property with him given his aggression to succeed and willingness to entertain any suggesstion I had. To cut a long story short, he got the property sold in less than 60 days while I was even out of the country. I will recommend him anyday. I will recommend him anyday not only because of the '60-day' thing but because of his professionalism."
Chris began his career in the real estate industry back in 2004 while living in California. Mortgages and real estate finance were his gateways while he worked with many investors building rental portfolios throughout the mortgage crisis. It was only a matter of time before he started working for the largest rental advertising company in California. Soon after, a coworker and Chris established their own Rental Advertising Agency, ProBono Real Estate Resources. To be closer to family, he moved back to Dallas and became a Texas Realtor® in 2009, a Real Estate Broker Associate then an Owner/Broker.
He has been on numerous radio shows and the news multiple times to discuss real estate topics. With his diverse knowledge in mortgages, finance, marketing, and business, Chris is a one-stop-shop for all of your real estate needs.
In his personal life, Chris is happily married, has two cats (Mohan and Miko), and enjoys the arts and traveling. He is also very active in helping the homeless community and founded and currently runs Volunteer North Dallas.
