Christian Torres

I hope that, if you are reading this, life has been treating you well. My name is Christian Torres, and I’m pleased and excited to be introducing myself to you. I just now made the leap into my Real Estate career. The safe-haven I am jumping from: the alcoholic beverage industry. For the last 8 years or so, I have been slingin’ booze all over the country. Although it has been a fun ride, my curiosity into Real Estate reached the tipping point after my wife and I went through the process of purchasing a home for ourselves.

I have a past and passion for working in industries where I can be of service. Travel, Hospitality and now Real Estate, I see myself being a good fit for this career. When approaching a bar, restaurant or a business that buys and sells spirits, it’s important to remember one thing: you are selling to (or at least trying) the same client over and over again. It's a relationship driven industry built on reputation and sweat equity. It’s about being a resource to help that account whenever you have the opportunity to. It is about keeping your word, no matter how small or large that promise may be. From all my experiences I have amounted in 30 short years of life, I am most excited to apply that experience to how to operate as I navigate Real Estate.

If I am not working or getting on my wife’s nerves - I can be a handful - you can probably find me somewhere by the water. Fishing has been a passion of mine for as far back as I can remember. And if I’m not fishing, I’m thinking of fishing or sending countless low-ball offers to those selling fishing boats on Facebook Marketplace; I’m sure something will stick one day. My wife just brought our first baby into this world, Kosta, and spending time with him and our family is also a great joy of mine.

All in all, I could not be more animated and enthusiastic about learning and excelling in Real Estate. What I look forward to most is having a runway with a limit that is only defined by myself and how far I am willing to go. I hope to look back at this letter in some time and confirm I made the right decision. Until then, it’s head down and full steam ahead.
