Colin Bailey

A San Diego native, Colin Bailey spent much of his youth in La Jolla alongside his two siblings. Growing up, he was naturally exposed to real estate through his father, who has worked in the title insurance field for more than 40 years. That early exposure led him to begin his career in real estate focusing on title insurance before transitioning into residential sales within San Diego’s high-end coastal market.

After attending Torrey Pines High School in North County, Colin went on to play volleyball at the University of California, Los Angeles. He credits his experience in sports with shaping many of the qualities that define him as a realtor today — consistency, hard work, and patience.

Over the past few years, Colin has been part of teams responsible for more than $100 million in closed sales volume, gaining valuable experience across multiple price points, client profiles, and transaction types.

His primary aim is to serve the communities that shaped his upbringing and where he now resides. Colin understands that buying or selling a home can be an exciting yet emotional experience, and he strives to make the process as seamless and rewarding as possible.

Based out of Compass’s One Paseo office, Colin specializes in residential real estate throughout San Diego County. He works with first-time buyers, move-up clients, executive relocations, and high-net-worth individuals — consistently aiming to exceed expectations through local expertise and client-focused service.

Outside of real estate, Colin stays active in the community, coaching with local volleyball organizations and mentoring young athletes — believing strongly in the sport’s ability to build discipline, teamwork, and confidence.
