"We were located in the northeast and were planning to buy a house in the triangle area and move. Due to COVID we had to do a lot of the search remotely. We chose Colleen based on a large number of brilliant reviews for her online.

And she didn’t disappoint - in fact, she exceeded all our expectations. Her expertise in the Triangle area is unparalleled. We are first-time home buyers and her knowledge and guidance made the entire process much smoother. She was always available for all our questions by phone, text, and email. In addition to that, her knowledge when looking at houses on the market is great- she told us in the beginning that she would go look into the crawl space for us, and she did! When doing the initial search on the online portal, she filtered houses based on our budget, location, and other needs- and once we had some favorites, did a quick research on them to point out issues like - this backs into the road, this neighborhood is not great, and so on, and so eliminated bad options early on.

We were in town for three weeks to look at the houses we had filtered out with her- and we found our dream house in three days - where she had 5-6 showings lined up for us each day. There were a couple of houses where as soon as we entered, she pointed out issues with the windows, the wood, the floor, the siding, etc, and said, 'I don’t want to show or sell this house to you because there look to be major issues with it', and we moved on to the next house. This is where her experience of decades, her knowledge of the neighborhood areas, and her eye for detail was of extraordinary use.

She was instrumental in negotiating the deal with the seller, and ensuring that we got our offer in before other people - our offer was accepted within a few hours of us putting it in. She handled all negotiations with the seller exceptionally and kept us in the loop throughout. We had to do closing remotely since we live out of state, and Colleen made sure that everything went smoothly, emailed the attorney, the lender, the remote notary, and all other involved parties (kudos to her team here as well- Carla and Janette were a lot of help here).

We closed a few weeks ago but haven’t been able to move in yet- and Colleen has been dropping in to see our house every other day to make sure everything is fine- which is what helped us in knowing about an HVAC issue in the cold weather on time!

We would highly recommend Colleen and her team for anyone looking at houses in the triangle area. They went above and beyond what we would have expected in a realtor and I would give them 6 stars if I could! "
