Colleen Waldoch

Colleen Waldoch is a Florida Broker Associate with Compass FL LLC , serving Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties. She specializes in luxury properties, relocation, second homes, and vacation homes. Her approach combines careful analysis, thoughtful marketing, and personal attention to help clients make informed decisions.

Before entering real estate, Colleen built a career spanning corporate pricing, business ownership, and professional photography. At a Fortune 500 company, she worked with pricing for approximately 30,000 products across 120 stores. That experience developed the analytical discipline she brings to evaluating market data and helping sellers position their properties.

Colleen also owned a portrait studio and worked for an aerial and architectural photography company. She studied photography for four years at Columbia College Chicago, building on an interest first inspired by her father, a talented photographer of flowers and landscapes. Her work with medium and large format black and white photography fostered a lasting appreciation for architecture, particularly churches. Today, that trained eye helps her recognize a home’s distinctive features and communicate them through compelling visual marketing.

In 2013, Colleen and her husband, Tom, moved from Chicago’s northwest suburbs to Florida. Although they loved Chicago’s lakefront, architecture, and cultural life, they were ready to exchange long winters for a different lifestyle. That move brought both a personal transition and a new professional direction: real estate.

Having made the move herself, Colleen understands that relocation involves more than choosing a property. It means finding a community, establishing new routines, and deciding how you want to live. She brings that perspective to clients exploring a permanent move, a seasonal retreat, or their next chapter.

She and Tom enjoy traveling and camping, and she especially loves fishing in the Florida Keys. Her Chicago roots remain strong, including her loyalty to the Cubs and  Da Bears.

Colleen’s goal is straightforward: provide clear guidance, represent her clients with care, and help them find the Florida lifestyle that feels right for them.
