About Connie

I’ve been a licensed real estate agent since 2018, with my journey in real estate beginning back in 2010. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn every side of the business, and since 2013, I’ve worked closely alongside Gary Doss which has been an experience that has truly shaped my foundation and approach in this industry.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, in Boyle Heights, and my love for nature started early through YMCA summer camps and family camping trips. Those experiences stayed with me and ultimately led me to the mountains. I’ve been living in Big Bear Lake since the summer of 2005, and over the years, it has truly become home. Living here has given me a deep appreciation for the lifestyle, the seasons, and the sense of community that makes this place so special.

Before real estate, my professional path was incredibly hands-on and people-focused. I worked as a Program Coordinator with the YMCA, supported special education students through LAUSD, and spent time with the City of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation. I’ve led team-building programs, taught archery, and even got creative making hula hoops. I also volunteer with the United States Adaptive Recreation Center, where I work with people of all ages and a wide range of physical and cognitive challenges, and I specialize in teaching blind skiers. It’s one of the most meaningful parts of my life and something I’m deeply passionate about.

My real estate career started at Keller Williams Big Bear as a receptionist, and from there I grew into multiple roles, including marketing director, transaction coordinator, and closing coordinator with Gary Doss & Associates. Those years gave me a full understanding of what it takes to successfully guide a transaction from start to finish. When I became licensed, stepping into the role of an agent felt like a natural progression, and today I’m proud to be part of Compass SoCal Resorts Group.

In addition to real estate, I’m also a musician and serve on the board of Make Music Day Big Bear, a nonprofit organization that brings our community together through music during the Winter and Summer Solstices as part of an international event. I also host a community open mic every Thursday in Big Bear Lake, creating a space for local talent and connection. Music and community are a big part of who I am, and I love being involved in something that brings people together in a meaningful way.

Big Bear isn’t just where I work, it’s home, and I’m grateful to help others find their place in the world too.
