After graduating from Texas A&M University, Courtney returned to Dallas, got "plugged in" to the city, and has never looked back. Courtney's involvement includes everything from the Junior League of Dallas, The Cattle Baron's Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and other local organizations and charities.

Courtney and her husband Edward live in Lake Highlands, have three college-aged daughters, love to stay active, spend time with their friends, travel, and watch college football.
