Hi! I’m Craig, a Senior Partner agent on the Upstate Curious Team! I grew up on a horse farm in Pleasant Valley (Dutchess County) and spent my younger life driving these roads, going to these schools, and taking day trips to the best local destinations – it’s a history that has an advantage. I know what this area was like when I was young, what is happening here now and where it is heading next. The Hudson Valley has everything you could want – amazing locally grown food, little shops and waterfront attractions; there are large estates and little cabins, sweeping mountain views and big open fields, beautiful waterfronts and 100 acre farms, all with the full four seasons. Helping people navigate their move to this amazing area is something I find truly rewarding.
Before moving back to New Paltz (my alma mater) to go all in on real estate, I lived in NYC and attended Columbia University for a graduate degree in Statistics. While in grad school I worked in hospitality at Tao Downtown. I learned so many valuable life lessons and skills from hospitality such as how to perform in high pressure situations, coordinating components to operate as a whole, setting and managing expectations, prioritization, time management and sales. With these skills and experience, I knew a career in real estate was going to be a great fit for me.
When I’m not helping my clients you can find me in the garden. I also love horses (I was an equestrian in my pre-NYC life) and had a beautiful warmblood mare that loved to jump (Swizzle <3). I am proud to be gay and enjoy engaging with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I love working with a wide variety of clients but one thing is consistently true – my clients are great people! They are kind, and they care. I also enjoy working with clients that are looking for second homes, first time home buyers and fellow equestrians, equine facilities are some of my favorite properties to show and talk shop about!
