About Cynthia

Cynthia Lubin brings over 20 years of combined experience in financial services, accounting, and real estate to her role as a Broker Associate with Compass, serving clients in both New Jersey and New York. Her transition into real estate was shaped by her own financial journey and a desire to help others make more informed, confident decisions when it comes to building wealth.

With a background that includes earning her CPA, working in mortgage and banking, and holding an MBA in Professional Accounting from Rutgers University, Cynthia offers a level of financial insight that goes beyond the typical real estate experience. Her career spans both a Big 4 accounting firm and a Fortune 100 financial services company, giving her a strong foundation in financial strategy, analysis, and long-term planning.

Since transitioning into real estate full-time in 2017, Cynthia has focused on helping clients not only buy and sell property, but understand how real estate fits into their broader financial picture. She believes homeownership is a key driver of wealth—not just financially, but in creating stability, opportunity, and long-term security.

In addition to her work in real estate, Cynthia is a published co-author of The Pocket Advisor: Tax Strategies and Money-Making Tips for Rental Property Owners, further highlighting her expertise in both accounting and real estate investment. She is also actively involved in her community and co-hosts a real estate series, Agent 2 Agent, where she shares insights and industry perspectives.

Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys time with her Jack Russell Terrier, Leo, exploring new restaurants, and prioritizing self-care and balance.
