About Dale
Originally from East Texas, Dale has been calling Austin home since 1987 when he was offered a position as Radio Broadcasting Talent under the LBJ Broadcasting firm, owned by the family of former President Lyndon B. Johnson. For nearly 35 years Dale had awakened Austin, co-hosting the #1 morning show for our growing city, 93.7 KLBJ-FM’S Dudley and Bob morning show. Prior to Real Estate, Dale was an award-winning humor columnist for Austin Monthly and an actor in several featured films. Real Estate has always been a passion for Dale and he became a Realtor to serve people as they take on one of the biggest purchases they will ever make. Having bought and sold several personal investments over the years, he knows the process well from the buyer/seller/investor perspective and all the stress and unknowns that it can bring. When he is not selling Real Estate, Dale enjoys fishing with his son on Lake Austin, watching his daughter dance, playing the guitar, podcasting, and cheering on the Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboy football teams. His wife, Amanda, is a Agent Success Manager at Realty Austin. She uses her expertise and knowledge to coach agents on our team to grow their real estate business while leading a balanced life. Their passion for giving back to the community includes supporting Austin’s affordable housing partners and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and delivering meals to home-bound seniors through Meals on Wheels.
