Before starting his real estate career in 2011, Dan attended Hawaii Pacific University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. Upon graduating, he worked for NOAA as a fisheries observer, gathering and analyzing data to help protect the world's oceans, including working in the Bering Sea and around the Hawaiian Islands. His analytical background serves his clients to help better understand market conditions, and best strategies for beating the competition whether his clients are buying or selling.

Dan’s fascination for the oceans drew him to the Islands in 2004 from his home state of Wisconsin. Instilled with midwestern values, his hard work ethic, hospitality, and integrity can be seen through every client he serves. Dan’s ability to work well with a team began early as a multiple sport athlete competing in soccer and baseball at the premier level, traveling around the midwest. This teamwork approach, resourcefulness, and resilience continue to lead to the success of Dan’s clients.
