Dana Merrill

A skilled realtor with successful experience in Northeast Florida markets since 2003, Dana Merrill is passionate about helping clients achieve their ideal living space. An Eastern Seaboard native who grew up just outside Manhattan, Dana moved to Northeast Florida in 1996 to attend the University of North Florida. Inspired by summers in her father's architecture firm, after graduation Dana subsequently began her career in marketing in the Architecture and Commercial Construction industry.

Dana’s love of design and marketing grew to include an appreciation for real estate in 2003, not long after she met her future husband, Adam. A graduate of the University of Florida Rinker School of Building Construction, Adam grew up in his family’s real estate business in Gainesville, FL. While Adam began building custom homes with Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Dana transitioned into a successful Realtor, who helped countless families find their perfect home. When Adam decided to put his years of learning and experience to the test on his own, John Merrill Homes was created with Dana right by his side, and the duo have been making homeowners’ dreams come true ever since. The couple tailors each custom-built property or remodel/addition to the individual needs of the homeowner, ensuring that John Merrill Homes sets the standard for elegance and luxury.

In 2021, Dana decided to further round out her experience by pursuing a degree in Interior Design Technology, graduating with honors in 2023. With outstanding expertise in both design and construction, as well as in sales and marketing, Dana and Adam make a strong and creative team who pride themselves on family-oriented service. From finding the perfect property, remodeling the perfect fixer-upper, or carefully crafting your dream home, they are with you every step of the way, and you and yours become part of their extended family.

Dana and Adam reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL with their three children and three dogs, in a custom JMH home they designed together.
