About Dana
I’ve worked in the real estate world for 25 years, beginning with 12 years as an Operations
Manager for mortgage companies. After having my son, I wanted a more flexible schedule, and
made the jump into real estate, eventually co-owning a small brokerage and interior design
center. My background in mortgage and design gives me a unique perspective as a real estate
agent. From keeping transactions organized and seamless to staging and marketing homes, I
combine detail-oriented processes with an eye for design to help my clients achieve their real
estate goals.
I get so much joy out of helping buyers see the potential in a home, and also showing sellers how
to highlight their property’s best features. One of my favorite quotes by textile designer/artist
William Morris captures my philosophy perfectly: “Have nothing in your house that you do not
know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” This balance of beauty and function guides me in
every transaction.
I’m originally from Illinois but grew up in Tucson. After graduating from the University of
Arizona, I moved to Phoenix and fell in love with its charming neighborhoods. My first home
was in the F.Q. Story Historic District, where I volunteered for many years to help coordinate the
annual home tour. Today, I live in North Central Phoenix with my husband Dan, our son Alex,
and our rescue dogs—Lucy, Peppa, and Chico—and we can’t imagine calling anywhere else
home.
Outside of real estate, I’m an interior design enthusiast who thrives on organization (yes, I was
an early Marie Kondo devotee!). I also enjoy gardening, reading, cooking, and spending time
with my family and friends.
