About Daniel
Daniel was born in Ladera Heights, lived his first year in Whitley Heights, attended grade school in West Hollywood, junior high in Hancock Park, high school in the Fairfax District, and university in Westwood. He grew up in East Hollywood and knows Los Angeles as well as any native possibly could. Also a writer, he used to live in Prague.

He would tell you, "Los Angeles is like some wonderful old eccentric. Every block, every street, every neighborhood makes a distinct contribution to its overall singularity. We often take it for granted, this beautiful treasure we have here. When you walk into a home, wherever it may be in the city, you are privy to another piece of its history, its character, its disposition. Contrary to what one might believe about writing, that its practice rests somewhere completely cerebral, in some intangible section of the mind, at some unknown address of the psyche, there is also a very tactile nature to it. Real estate seems to carry a similar perception. There is this notion, now more than ever, that a listing seems to exist only on a screen. With its pictures and descriptions. Its facts and figures. But these are real places. There is a physicality to this work that I love. You have to get out there. On the streets, in those areas, at these locations. There is a feel to the job that is required. And your clients are not characters but the real people who come into your life as you help change theirs. Just as the figures of fiction are the author's gifts to the readers, occupying a palpable private property in their imaginations, the real estate agent can offer buyers and sellers alike the opportunity to actualize what had previously been envisioned solely in their heads. Realty grants one the honor and pleasure of seeing others realize their aspirations, each and every transaction a chance to take the "real estate" of their dreams and make it a reality."
