As buyers, after coming across a home done by a builder we liked, Dan was able to locate another off-market property by the same builder in a preferable location and in the early stages of construction. Dan then proved to be an invaluable resource over the course of the construction process as he assisted us in customizing certain elements of the home and managed interaction with the builder in general. This was a somewhat extensive process with many touchpoints, and Dan was readily available to assist us any time we had a question or needed any sort of guidance. "Dan helped me with the sale of my condo in Lakeview in May, 2019. As I was living out of state, I found him by reading reviews and was not disappointed. Dan helped coordinate everything regarding the sale. We began by negotiating a potential sale with the then-current tenant of the unit, however as we were unable to come to an agreement, we shifted gears and Dan advised me on what was needed in terms of cosmetic improvements to have the unit ready for sale. Dan coordinated the staging and advised on the marketing strategy of the condo. He also strategically timed the the marketing of the property which resulted in a multiple offer situation and a sale price well over list price. About Daniel
Daniel began his real estate career in 2004 as part of Sean Conlon's first real estate company: Sussex & Reilly. Citing his early success as a Broker, Sean invited Daniel to be a founding member of CONLON: A Real Estate Company in March 2009 & was later amongst the first Chicago Brokers at Compass when CONLON & Compass joined forces in April of 2018.

In his 19 years in real estate, Daniel has been recognized as a "TOP PRODUCER" by the Chicago Association of Realtors while assisting buyers, sellers, investors, landlords, & tenants in a variety of capacities across Chicagoland. While the Chicago condo market initially drove his business, the diversity of his clientele has allowed Daniel to gain valuable experience with the acquisition & sale of single-family homes, multi-family investment properties, commercial real estate, and new-construction residential development. In the Summer of 2020, Daniel accepted an invitation to join The SHEAHAN GROUP of COMPASS where he continues to operate his own business while leveraging the additional resources and marketing of the #1 Real Estate Group by volume in Illinois (Medium | Real Trends 2020).

Prior to his real estate career, Daniel worked in advertising at Leo Burnett in Chicago and later at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment. His advertising experience has proven valuable for marketing his clients' properties and branding his own business. Daniel attributes his initial interest in real estate to his mother, who has worked as a broker in the Western Suburbs for over 30 years. Her emphasis on maintaining lifelong clients has provided a strong example of how to run a business based on good relationships.

Daniel earned a BA at the University of Iowa and completed the Urban Real Estate Program at UIC's Liautaud School of Business. A Chicago resident for 22 years, Daniel lives in Humboldt Park.
