Danielle Lurie

Danielle began her real estate career as a financial analyst for the San Francisco based REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) AMB, shortly after graduating from Stanford University. In 2015, Danielle became Corcoran’s Rookie of the Year, the top new agent across all of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Shortly after Danielle joined Compass and formed The Danielle Lurie Team.  

A decade later, Danielle’s purposefully all-female team, today called The Jane Advisory, is consistently ranked in the top 1.5% of agents in the country and as one of the Top 100 Mid-Size Teams in NYC. The Jane Advisory name is inspired by urban planning activist Jane Jacobs and the team is a collaborative collective co-run by Danielle and Head of Operations & Marketing Michaela Morton.

A champion of women across the real estate industry and beyond, Danielle is also the founder of the Women in Real Estate Collective (WIREC), an inclusive community of agents across New York who meets quarterly to help resource, support, and celebrate one another, sharing our success and putting competition aside.

Prior to her NYC real estate career, Danielle spent fifteen years working as an activist writer/director in the Hollywood film industry, focusing primarily on women’s and animal rights as well as on climate change prevention. Danielle’s documentary work has taken her to war-torn Uganda and on tour with Grammy Winner Sheryl Crow; her fiction work has screened at top film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca and has led Danielle to work with major studios and Oscar winning actors.

Danielle has lived in SoHo, the East Village, Williamsburg, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and the Upper West Side - and is a true New Yorker who has an extensive background in co-op, condo, townhouse sales, and rentals. Today, she leads a bicoastal lifestyle between NYC and the East Bay in California. In her spare time, she loves photography, running, swimming, practicing yoga, and eating every vegan meal she possibly can. Danielle has a young daughter, two step children — and a Chocolate Lab named Moose.
