A summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama, Darren holds degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Marketing Management. For nearly a decade, Darren worked as a software engineer with the Department of Defense in underwater warfare. Since he couldn’t discuss the details of his work, he and his wife Emily sought something they could enjoy and build together. Real estate quickly became their shared passion, and they found early success investing in the luxury market on 30A.

Now a full-time luxury real estate advisor, Darren is driven by the art of the deal. He thrives on negotiating the best outcomes for his clients, whether that means securing the best buy or maximizing value on a sale. His sharp analytical mind and love of data allow him to spot patterns, forecast market shifts, and make smart, informed decisions that create real wealth.

A pivotal shift in Darren’s approach came during a market pullback when inventory surged. It was then he embraced a powerful philosophy: either offer a better price for the same product or create something so desirable, someone can’t live without it. This mindset now guides how he advises clients, whether they're buying, selling, or developing.

Outside of real estate, Darren enjoys high-intensity sports and spending time with family. He’s been married to his college sweetheart, Emily, for over 10 years and is a proud father to their young son, Theodore James. They live in Inlet Beach, where Darren loves the heat, the beautiful beaches, the quiet off-season, and the cultural mix of homeowners from around the world.
