"My wife and I moved to Austin 5 years ago to help out our children with their newborn babies. We rented here at first to get the lay of the land and searched all 5 years for a home to buy. We asked several Realtors to help us out to no avail. They all concluded that we could not afford a house here because we had a mortgage in our hometown. The market there had been abysmal. We wanted to stay close to Austin, TX. After a season of house hunting, we managed to find one and here we are. That's what is expected of a real estate agent. Here is why he went above and beyond. During the staging of our home to sell, he was aware that my wife and I were going to stage it. He decided to come to help me move. How many agents take time out of their day to help move and move the big stuff (like a 6 drawer wooden hutch)? I don't know of many that would. He had a sore back for days but helped a great deal. Even after we closed on both houses he wanted to make sure we were taken care of. There are always little hiccups that occur in any process.
