About David
Since 1998 David has successfully served hundreds of clients to achieve their real estate goals. David began his real estate career in his hometown of Chicago where he served as the Leasing Manager for a portfolio of 22 multifamily and mixed-use properties. During his debut David proved to be an outstanding resource for his investor clients by maintaining a less than 2% annual vacancy rate for the entire portfolio of over 1200 units. Furthermore, David employed his spatial planning talents to advise property management on how to creatively maximize the value of each property through modifications in design and smart investments in capital improvements. David has personally closed over 3,000 lease transactions.
Over the years David has developed extensive experience in 1) project management, 2) marketing real estate, 3) locating suitable properties for commercial and residential clients, and 4) in negotiating complex lease and sales contracts.
David currently resides in Marin, but lived in San Francisco for 14 years. David maintains an insightful awareness of San Francisco Bay’s rapidly changing communities. He understands how these changes are affecting property values in the local residential and commercial markets.
David is also a passionate advocate of the Housing First Model as a viable and sustainable solution to address our nation’s growing crisis with homelessness and mental illness. Moreover, he is a passionate advocate of our Constitutionally protected rights to personal and real property.
In addition to his experience working with commercial clients, David has extensive experience in the residential market working with both buyers and sellers. Furthermore, David has 5 years experience in successfully developing and managing sustainable supportive housing programs for federal, state, and city government in the non-profit, affordable housing sector.
