David Balk has built a dedicated real estate career since 2013, entering the industry immediately after graduating University. Over the past 12 years, he has worked at New York City’s four most prominent brokerages—Douglas Elliman, Corcoran, Brown Harris Stevens, and now Compass. This path has given him a deep understanding of the city’s evolving market and the ability to deliver high-level service shaped by the best practices of each firm.

At 25, David was recruited by Corcoran to work under the senior managing director of their Upper East Side office, where he expanded his market knowledge and refined his approach to client service. He later spent five years at Brown Harris Stevens, focusing on luxury and high-end sales across Manhattan. Now at Compass, he continues to represent buyers and sellers throughout the city, leveraging the firm’s advanced technology and broad reach to achieve strong results.

A lifelong New Yorker, David has lived in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, where he now resides with his family. He works across all neighborhoods and property types, always focused on his clients’ individual goals. With a clear, data-driven approach and deep local insight, he helps clients navigate the market confidently and make informed decisions at every stage of the process.
