David Burnham

David Burnham is an award-winning real estate agent who approaches his business with one clear mission: to serve people at a high level and make a lasting impact on their lives. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, David moved to Florida in 2003 and quickly fell in love with the laid-back, coastal lifestyle that makes the area so unique.

David began his real estate career in 2015 while still in college and knew immediately that he had found what he was meant to do. Since then, he has been involved in hundreds of transactions, including buying, selling, flipping, investing, building, and managing properties across Southwest Florida. His experience spans everything from first-time buyers to luxury waterfront homes and everything in between. Thanks to his broad range of experience in many different areas and sectors of the market, David is a valuable asset in any real estate transaction.

A graduate of Wheaton College in Chicago with a degree in Business and Economics, David comes from a family rooted in ministry, and that background continues to shape the way he does business. While he chose a different professional path, his faith remains central to his life and drives his commitment to honesty, integrity, and putting his clients’ best interests first. He assists in the organizational workings of Burnham Ministries International and is in the process of launching his own international nonprofit organization, seeking to provide low- or no-interest loans to rural pastors in Africa, Asia, and elsewhere.

Known for his approachable, down-to-earth style, David believes real estate is ultimately a people business, not just a transaction business. "No one can out-care me," David often says. He takes pride in building real relationships with his clients and treating every deal as a privilege, not a paycheck. That mindset has helped him quickly establish himself among the top agents in the region while maintaining a reputation for integrity and excellence.

In July 2025, David married Ariel Burnham, a Southwest Florida native and fellow real estate agent. Together they form the Burnham Team, combining their experience, market knowledge, and passion to serve others into one seamless process for their clients. They have two four-legged children: Carl, a five year old Goldendoodle, and Lila, a six year old Boston Terrier.

Outside of real estate, David and Ariel enjoy everything Southwest Florida has to offer, from boating and fishing to golf and time at the beach. Their family roots run deep in the area, each coming from three generations of Southwest Floridians. They are uniquely capable of representing the lifestyle here because they actually live it, and they absolutely love it.
