About David
David Fite is widely regarded as one of Palm Beach’s leading real estate professionals, recognized for his strategic insight, integrity, and dedication to client service. As Founding Principal of the Palm Beach Luxury Portfolio Group at Compass, he brings more than two decades of experience guiding complex transactions and representing many of the region’s most distinguished properties.
Before launching The Fite Group Luxury Homes—a boutique brokerage that became synonymous with discretion, performance, and trust—David held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Corcoran, and Douglas Elliman. That foundation in both finance and real estate leadership continues to inform his approach today: analytical, relationship-driven, and focused on creating long-term value.
His leadership reflects the character of the Palm Beach Luxury Portfolio Group itself—collaborative, refined, and deeply connected to the community it serves. The group operates with the scale of a leading megateam and the discernment of a boutique firm, defined by precision, professionalism, and client-centered excellence.

David earned his BA in Economics and Computer Studies from Northwestern University, where he competed as a division 1 collegiate swimmer, and later received his MBA in Corporate Strategy and Finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. A lifelong competitor, he continues with masters and open-water swimming, and enjoys golf, boating, and supporting the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago Bears, and Florida Panthers.
