About David


David is an Atlanta native raised in Druid Hills. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with a degree in Business Management. Upon graduation, he moved to Wyoming where he spent nine years in customer service and marketing, serving most recently as the Marketing Manager with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. David met his wife, Keri, also an Atlanta native while living in Jackson Hole.

As the son of an architect, he has a passion for real estate, design, and providing clients knowledge and understanding in their home buying experience. Working with his mentor Kevin McGlynn, he has had an opportunity to learn from a top producer and gain vital experience while pushing start on his career. Upon joining Compass, they formed McGlynn + Johnson, a team aimed at providing the highest level of service in every aspect of the real estate process.

When David is not working, he is found on the golf course, enjoying the outdoors, on a walk with his beloved dog, Tucker, or cheering on one of the many Georgia sports teams. Now residing in Candler Park, just a few short minutes from his childhood home, he relishes the opportunity to share the neighborhood with you.
