About David

David Wertz has been immersed in real estate for decades. As a part-time market analyst in high school, he surveyed the streets of Tampa familiarizing himself with neighborhoods, price points, and architecture as he cataloged for sale, pending, and closed deals. This on-the-ground understanding was his first entrée to a lifelong passion for residential property.

After college, David worked in digital marketing and web development – skills that would prove invaluable to his later career. He then earned a real estate license and joined his family as a Sale Associate at Coldwell Banker’s The Wertz Group. Suffice to say, he was a natural, with nearly $4 million in sales in his first year. 

As a key part of his family’s real estate business, David has been both student and teacher. By day, he gained invaluable training and insights from their decades of experience in residential real estate, and by night, he built the group’s digital marketing infrastructure into the powerful lead-generation platform it is today.
