With over two decades of collective experience, Karen and Kelsey embarked on their collaborative journey after achieving significant success as senior producers on a top-ranked team at Douglas Elliman. They have a proven track record of handling transactions across all of Manhattan, reflecting their deep market knowledge and versatility. In 2024, the team principals expanded to include David Gay. Prior to joining the team, David successfully managed a significant rental portfolio, working closely with developers and landlords. His transition to the team has allowed him to successfully expand into the sales market by leveraging his comprehensive City knowledge garnered by his rental experience. He is uniquely skilled at transitioning clients from rentals to ownership.

The ethos of the Davidson Martin Gay Team centers around a hands-on, client-focused approach, where they are involved in overseeing every aspect of the sales process. Their philosophy is reflective of who they all are as individuals.

Prior to her transition into real estate, Karen worked on Wall Street in fixed income at Morgan Stanley in NYC and in marketing at Leo Burnett in Chicago. Both her financial and marketing background have provided her with integral skills advantageous in any real estate transaction. An active Duke University alumni, having received her MBA there, Karen lives on the Upper West Side with her real estate attorney husband and teenage twin boys.

Kelsey Martin's journey from Bloomfield Hills, MI, to becoming a significant figure in Soho's real estate scene, was propelled by her success as a top salesperson at an Aspen art gallery. Kelsey currently resides in South Florida where she serves as a highly reputable referral agent for the team while focusing on the luxury sector in Miami / Palm Beach with Compass.

David spent nearly a decade as an actor and dancer; an intense proving ground that required relentless hard work that he has transferred to his real estate career. His adeptness at branding and social media has added a whole new dimension to the team and their clients. As a principal of the Davidson Martin Gay Team, David‘s real estate insight into both the sales and rental markets has earned him an exceptional reputation within the broker community and clients alike. David currently resides on the Upper West Side with his husband.

Michael brings nearly twenty-five years of real estate experience to the Davidson Martin Gay Team. Most recently, Michael was entrenched in the lending side of real estate where he was the head of term underwriting for a Manhattan based lender specializing in investment and commercial properties. This has given Michael an added level of expertise that he brings to the business which his clients appreciate. Prior to moving to New York, he built a successful career as a real estate broker in Seattle, WA for over twenty years as well as earning his MBA from the University of Washington. Michael knows that building trust is the key to creating lasting relationships in business and prides himself on going the extra mile for clients. Outside of work, he’s a vintage watch and car enthusiast, rugby player/coach, and always up to try a restaurant recommendation!
