About Dawn
Being raised in a military family, I was given the opportunity to move a few times during my childhood. Eventually we landed in Texas, where I met my husband Jon on a blind date when we were in high school. We married eight years later and moved to Pittsburgh two years after that for Jon's residency in emergency medicine. We moved here thinking that we would only be here for the duration of his residency, but it wasn't long before we fell in love with Pittsburgh! We ended up buying our first home within a year of having arrived in the area and decided to put down some roots.
Right away we realized that Pittsburgh and the surrounding region has so much to offer! Despite being so far away from any family, we knew that Pittsburgh would be the perfect place to raise a family, and it has been. Together we have raised three sons and all three are proud to be from the 'burgh!
