As COO and lead agent of The Goodhart Group, and the daughter of two of the area's most esteemed realtors, Allison Goodhart DuShuttle has been immersed in real estate her entire life. By childhood, she was an expert at posting her parents' open house signs. She earned her license at 18 and spent summers during college interning in the field, including working for Barbara Corcoran, the "queen" of New York real estate.
Not one to lean on her well-known name, throughout her career, Allison has worked in every role on the team and forged in-depth understanding of every facet of the buying and selling process. In 2015, that hard work paid off when she was recognized by Realtor magazine as one of their "30 Under 30." Seen as a dynamic industry expert, she's a regular conference speaker and quoted in major media outlets.
Above all, Allison thrives on helping clients through what can be a difficult process, so they can achieve their goals and tackle life's transitions. Like the entire Goodhart family, Allison is passionate about supporting local charitable organizations, including The Campagna Center and The Fund for Alexandria’s Child. A lifelong DC area resident, she currently lives in Old Town with her husband Doug and their son Brooks.
