As a lifelong resident of the Washington metro region, Kirsten has a distinct knowledge of the District and surrounding neighborhoods. Originally from the Annapolis area, she has lived and worked throughout the city for over 15 years. While based out of Compass’s Chevy Chase office, she loves serving clients in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Kirsten prides herself on cultivating relationships and as such, devotes herself to the specific needs of her clients, whether locating their next home or preparing a property for market. Her clients are primarily referral-based and past clients have praised her thoughtful approach, market knowledge, attention to detail and preparedness through all stages of transactions.
Kirsten brings to her career in real estate a strong client service focus, with analytical and negotiation skills honed through experience in business consulting and marketing communications. Among other roles, she has worked as director of marketing for The Atlantic magazine and as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. She holds a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Mary Washington.
Kirsten currently lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband and two daughters. Having grown up racing sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay, she counts outdoor activities among her favorite personal pursuits. Although her work in real estate dominates her weekend time, she still loves to get out on the water whenever possible.
