Rick was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After finishing high school, he moved across the state to attend the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and a Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching.
Upon graduation in 2011, Rick moved to Northern Virginia where he began his career as a fifth grade teacher in McLean in a Fairfax County Public School. He also teaches religious school at Washington Hebrew Congregation: a place he has called home since his arrival in DC. Through his work in the classroom and the demanding rigor of the teaching profession, Rick has honed many invaluable skills which have proven to be assets in developing him into an effective agent in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of real estate. He is able to utilize his experience as a teacher to help educate his clients about an otherwise overwhelming process.
Family and friends have always been the cornerstone of Rick’s life. You will often find him exploring DC with friends or traveling with family. If you are looking for a great brunch spot, he is your guy!
