Dean Kateris

Dean brings valuable perspective to the team from his background spanning real estate, marketing, and administration. Shortly after graduating from UCLA, Dean sought opportunities to apply his skills in the real estate sector.

He began by interning for Bruinshack, a student-led startup focused on making housing searches more accessible for students in Los Angeles. After a year of assisting with marketing and outreach, Dean took on a role as the Program Coordinator for Harvard University's Master in Real Estate. In this position, he provided vital administrative support and helped coordinate all aspects of the academic program. Working closely with students and faculty gave Dean valuable insight into the real estate field and inspired him to pursue his license.

Dean leverages a unique blend of creative marketing talents and analytical real estate insights in his work at Compass. Outside of work, Dean enjoys exploring Boston's museums, and building on his passion for photography, aspiring to release his own coffee table book.
