A Massachusetts native, Debra earned her B.A. from Connecticut College, her Master of Social Work from Columbia University, and her PhD in Clinical Social Work from New York University. Before entering real estate, she spent several decades as a professional psychotherapist, working with individuals and families and founding The Adoption Family Center. She also served as Program Director at Queens Children's Guidance Center, where she led a program focused on the adoption of children with special needs.

Her transition into real estate brought together her lifelong passions for New York City, architecture, design, and helping people. That unique background gives Debra an especially thoughtful approach to real estate—one grounded in listening, understanding, and helping clients navigate both the practical and personal sides of buying or selling a home. She has built a successful career representing buyers and sellers throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan and has become a trusted resource for Park Slope real estate.

A Brooklyn resident for many years, Debra first lived in Cobble Hill before settling in Park Slope, where she renovated a brownstone and now lives with her husband, two children, and dog. Her firsthand experience as a Brooklyn homeowner and renovator gives her an intimate understanding of the neighborhoods and properties she represents.

While Park Slope is home, Debra’s real estate expertise extends throughout Brownstone Brooklyn, including Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Gowanus, Crown Heights, and surrounding neighborhoods, as well as Manhattan and Queens.

Deeply connected to the Park Slope community, Debra is a former PTA president and AYSO soccer coach. She is also an avid runner and has completed several half marathons. When she’s not helping clients navigate the Brooklyn real estate market, you can often find her running through Prospect Park or One Brooklyn Bridge Park.
