Derek enters the Real Estate business with over 15 combined years of experience in merchandise buying and wholesale sales in the fashion industry. His natural skill in interpersonal relations, keen ability to listen to clients and tenacious attention to detail has allowed him to consistently provide exceptional customer service. Taking advantage of an extensive network in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills areas, Derek can ensure that the process of buying or selling a home is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved parties.
Derek studied Retail Management and Consumer Studies at Syracuse University then moved on to a successful career as a Buyer at Bloomingdale's in New York City. After 3 years on the buying side, Derek recognized that the sales side was better suited for his outgoing and energetic personality. He went on to work for high-end fashion labels such as Ben Sherman and Citizens of Humanity before moving to Los Angeles in 2007 to open up and manage the Los Angeles showroom for the global brand Lacoste. His drive and business sense helped him navigate the highly competitive world of fashion while consistently exceeding his sales goals on an annual basis. In addition to his constant yearning to learn and experience new things, it is Derek’s passion for helping people build their dream lifestyle that has led him to a career in Real Estate. Derek is driven to succeed, motivated to help his clients win, and welcomes the opportunity to serve you.
