Josh Garcia

A graduate of Florida State University with degrees in Finance and Real Estate, Josh Garcia offers a unique skill set that enables him to expertly serve multiple roles. For years during college, Josh managed a team that sold educational books door-to-door, serving as the foundation for his unwavering work ethic and his career in sales and consulting. As a Realtor, Josh built strong relationships with local, regional and national banking institutions (Bank United, FirstBank Florida, and Fannie Mae) by assisting them in the evaluation, asset preservation, marketing and selling of REOs. In 2009, he parlayed the expertise he gained in these to jumpstart a successful career with EWM Realty.

Josh has an understanding of all types of clients, having assisted in multi-million dollar transactions. Whether his clients are buying, selling or renting a property, he takes the time to learn their exact needs and develop the most effective strategies to ensure that every transaction is as simple and stress-free as possible, and it has served him–Josh consistently made Chairman’s Club for the last decade, averaging over $10 million in sales annually (his highest being $25M). His high sales volume is a testament to the effectiveness of his versatile and hands-on approach to real estate.

Now as a Real Estate Advisor at Compass, Josh is backed by the robust Compass technology and service offering, including CRM marketing, analytics, staging, repairs and more. Josh is well equipped to elevate the experience of buying or selling, offering a one-stop concierge service at every step along the real estate journey to more seamlessly achieve his clients’ goals. At Compass, he represents buyers, sellers, and investors in luxury homes and condominiums throughout Miami-Dade County and the Florida Keys.

In his off time, Josh is a devoted family man, spending much of his time with his wife and two young girls. He and his wife volunteer with Kiwanis of Little Havana and always love participating in the annual Carnaval celebrations. In his off time, he has mastered his skills of not burning churrasco or beef sliders on the grill, which he pairs with his famous homemade chimichurri or truffle mayonnaise sauces. A native of Puerto Rico, Josh is fluent in English and Spanish.
