A dynamically balanced duo of NYC real estate experts, Susan Kim and Karin Dauch formed DOMUS TEAM in order to leverage each other’s complementary strengths and diverse experiences for the ultimate benefit of their clients. With successful backgrounds in Law and Journalism, Susan and Karin utilize innovative negotiation and problem-solving skills while delivering sincere and straight-forward communication and exceptional customer service. Susan’s experience as a corporate transactional lawyer translates into her pragmatic, results-driven approach, while Karin’s foundation in journalism feeds her creative and instinctual nature. As long-time New Yorkers, Susan and Karin have spent decades exploring the city and love sharing specialized knowledge about their favorite neighborhoods, restaurants, wine bars, shops, museums, galleries and fitness studios. They share a particular passion for food and wine, especially champagne and caviar. Susan holds a WSET Level 3 advanced wine certification and curates wine events and experiences for friends and clients. She is especially focused on champagne and is also an ambassador for Astrea, a women-owned caviar company. Karin is deeply involved in philanthropy and sits on the board of several non-profit organizations, including BrazilFoundation and Saving Grace, a secular non-profit focused on the architectural preservation of Grace Church in New York City. For each transaction, she donates a percentage of her commission to a cause that her client feels passionate about. Aside from Susan and Karin’s real estate industry knowledge and years of experience, their distinctive shared passions beyond real estate bring an unexpected element of zest to each client’s transaction experience.
