"My wife and I had found an off-market home in Foster City. Our realtor, Don, reviewed the comps with us and helped us write a good offer which was accepted BELOW asking price (definitely hard in this low inventory sellers market). He made the house buying process very simple and we didn’t run into any hiccups in closing escrow. Since we wanted to move in ASAP after closing but there were some things that needed to be changed (such as new carpeting), Don was very helpful in opening the house so that our contractors could come in and give us quotes/do measurements etc. This was very helpful so once we closed and had the keys, they could start work right away (important since there were supply chain issues due to Covid so we definitely wanted to get a jump on things). Don has a very personable and friendly demeanor. Since we closed escrow around Christmastime, he got us a housewarming little Christmas tree (like Charlie Brown) which our son absolutely loved. He also has checked in regularly throughout the year after we bought our place asking us how we were doing and bringing impromptu gifts (such as a large carving pumpkins just in time for Halloween).
