After graduation, Dorothy worked with several international organizations, including the International Monetary Fund and Africare. However, her creative passion eventually led her to pursue a career in interior design and she enrolled at Corcoran Design School (now part of George Washington University). This pursuit culminated in the launch of her own design firm, Haven Interior Design. Throughout her successful independent design career, she also worked at the Washington D.C. Design Center with industry leaders, including Robert Allen|Beacon Hill, and most recently served as the Managing Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Schumacher.

By providing her clients with data-driven market insights, she enables them to make well-informed decisions regarding the sale or purchase of their homes.
