About Doug
A Global Real Estate Advisor with the Compass Carolinas, Doug Bishop (Bean) has spent over 14 years doing what he loves as a real estate professional: helping sellers achieve their financial goals while supporting buyers in their search for the perfect home. He closed over $21 million in sales in 2024 and is an expert in the River Run Country Club community in Davidson. Originally from Denton, Doug earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from East Carolina University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to his career in real estate, Doug worked in pricing analytics for Harris Teeter and Family Dollar. Doug has been residing in the Davidson/Lake Norman area for over 20 years and has experienced the highs and lows of the local real estate market’s fluctuations. With his expertise in marketing and pricing as a Strategic Pricing Specialist, Doug looks forward to helping you in your next home transaction. Experienced in short sales and foreclosures, Doug and his partner renovate and flip homes as a hobby, right down to designing the landscaping on the projects.
