Douglas first discovered Martha’s Vineyard in the 1980s, when his family built a home on the island. From an early age, he developed a deep connection to the Vineyard’s coastal beauty, vibrant community, and distinctive lifestyle — always knowing that one day he would call it home year-round. 

Following a distinguished 30-year career leading domestic and international sales organizations at EMC and Dell Technologies, Douglas transitioned into luxury real estate, bringing with him a strategic, client-focused approach shaped by decades of high-level negotiation and trusted advisory experience. As a member of Signal House Group at Compass, he combines extensive global business expertise with an authentic understanding of the Vineyard lifestyle to thoughtfully guide buyers and sellers through the island’s unique real estate market. 

An avid cyclist, photographer, and outdoor enthusiast, Douglas fully embraces the lifestyle he represents. He offers clients not only market knowledge and strategic insight, but also a genuine appreciation for the craftsmanship, character, and legacy that make Martha’s Vineyard properties truly exceptional.
