Dylan Haines

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Dylan has seen the city and surrounding areas grow over the past three decades. After graduating from high school, Dylan attended the University of Texas at Austin to pursue a degree in Economics and Business. Dylan walked on the football team at UT Austin and became a three-year starter at Safety for the Longhorns. Dylan finished his career at the University of Texas with 13 interceptions (Tied for 5th in school history) and 254 interception return yards (2nd in school history). He earned All-Conference honors as well as Academic All Big-12 honors. He was awarded the Academic Leadership award in 2016 for his involvement in the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. After a couple of minicamps with NFL teams such as the New York Jets, Houston Texans, and Baltimore Ravens, Dylan walked away from the game of football and pursued a new passion in real estate. In his first five years, he listed and sold over $40M worth of real estate all over Austin. This production earned him the award of 2018 rookie of the year at one of the largest brokerages in Austin.

Dylan joined Compass in December of 2022 in order to utilize their state-of-the-art technology to scale his business and serve as many clients as possible. Dylan’s familiarity with the city and surrounding areas gives him the ultimate expertise needed to guide buyers and sellers through the complex world of residential and commercial real estate. From condominiums in downtown Austin, farm and ranch properties around central Texas, and commercial office space, Dylan has experience selling a variety of different property types.

Dylan is also a residential real estate investor. He purchased, redesigned, and completely remodeled a condominium in downtown Austin. He also purchased a short-term rental property in the highly coveted Zilker neighborhood. Dylan enjoys spending his time off working out, playing golf, snowboarding, or enjoying one of the many fun things the city of Austin has to offer. He also has a pet cat named Kobe.
