Eli Masud

Eli Masud built a strong foundation in sales, construction, and building products before transitioning into real estate brokerage in 2014. Since then, he's built one of the most dynamic and successful careers in the industry.

A Chicago native, Eli combines a vast professional network with a deep, lived-in understanding of the city and western suburbs, having lived and sold across neighborhoods in both.

He's the founder of Second City Agents, which he's grown into one of the fastest-growing real estate teams in Chicago and its suburbs, with over $450,000,000 in team sales. In both 2024 and 2025, Eli earned the Chicago Association of Realtors' Double Platinum award — the organization's highest honor — recognizing his team's exceptional performance and impact.

Now based in Burr Ridge, Eli is a homeowner and seasoned multifamily investor with properties throughout Chicago, including homes and buildings he's personally renovated, sold, or continues to hold. That combination of market expertise and hands-on investment experience lets him guide clients toward smart opportunities, whether they're buying a first home or building long-term wealth through real estate.

Before real estate, Eli built deep expertise in new construction and renovation at James Hardie Building Products, and ran his own limousine business — early proof of his entrepreneurial drive and commitment to five-star service.

Eli holds a B.S. in Business Management and Marketing from Purdue University and an MBA from Lewis University, where he now volunteers as an assistant coach for the nationally ranked men's volleyball team — a nod to his own days as a competitive beach volleyball player. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Compass Sports & Entertainment Division.

Eli gives back through Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, Operation Birthday, Nourishing Hope, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Fluent in Arabic, Eli lives with his wife Lauren, their two children, Madeline and Cameron, and their pit bull, Kelbi. Clients often call him their "realtor for life" — a testament to his loyalty, insight, and commitment to lasting relationships.
