About Eliza
A south Georgia native and Emory graduate, Eliza brings dedication to client service and love for Chapel Hill to her role as real estate advisor. She, her husband, and their two young daughters moved here in 2021 after 15 years in Austin, TX. Drawn by the opportunity to be closer to family and the unique charm of the region, Eliza quickly fell in love with the Triangle. She takes great pleasure in helping others discover the area and find their own dream homes in the "southern part of heaven."
Eliza’s career in real estate is built upon a strong foundation of over 20 years in nonprofit development, including roles with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and locally with Hill Learning Center and the NC Equal Access to Justice Commission. This experience has honed her skills in communication, relationship building, and a client-focused approach.
As a lover of older, unique homes, and a student of art history and textile design, Eliza has a unique talent for helping to maximize the aesthetic beauty of a space. She sees every challenge as an opportunity for a creative solution.
Eliza’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. As a vestry member at The Chapel of the Cross, she helps lead stewardship for her Episcopal parish. Eliza is also a member of the Durham Debutante Ball Society, and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
Eliza feels immense gratitude for the rich opportunities the Triangle offers their family. She understands the complexities of relocating and is passionate about guiding newcomers through the process of finding their own happy homes in this vibrant, welcoming region.
