A Manhattan resident since 1987, Elizabeth Marks has lived on the Upper West Side since 1991, all the while forging strong roots in her community and building an extensive knowledge of the neighborhood’s distinctive real estate marketplace.
An active residential specialist, citizen and mother, Elizabeth understands the unique needs of those seeking to find that special home. She truly takes time to listen intently to her customers’ desires, then scours the market for the building and apartment that fits their lifestyle and budget. To Elizabeth, nothing is more rewarding than that “perfect fit,” or the smiles of satisfaction that she enjoys seeking from satisfied buyers. She’s also a great resource when it comes to recommending area schools, stores, restaurants and services.
Sellers rely on Elizabeth’s dedication and keen market insight, as well as her creative marketing savvy and intuitiveness in showing their property to the most suitable qualified buyers. They just as much appreciate her professional manner, easy to work with nature and sharp negotiation skills that help close the sale and assure the best price.
Originally from Long Island, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire. She began her career in sales management before venturing into the creative end of advertising. Fueled by her entrepreneurial spirit, Elizabeth founded and ran Underwater Frontiers, Inc., an adventure travel company, as well as founding Just Organized, a service & productivity oriented business. Her impressive interpersonal, organizational, sales and follow-through skills lent themselves well to her natural transition to residential real estate.
Elizabeth and her husband are co-op owners on the Upper West Side, where they reside with their young son. When not busy showing and selling homes, Elizabeth can be found at the skating rink playing ice hockey with the best of them…or cheering from the sidelines as her son plays the sport. She is an adventure lover who also enjoys an active yoga and meditation practice.
