About Elizabeth
I majored in English Lit and Political Science at LSU.; I also attended the University of Madrid and Centenary College before receiving my BA from LSU. I did post-grad work at UNO.; Prior to moving to New Orleans in 1975, I worked in Washington, DC for Congressman Joe D. Waggonner, Jr from the Shreveport area of Louisian Previously I had worked in the campaign of Senator Allen Ellender prior to his death during the campaign.

In New Orleans, I became an agent and then broker with Sylvia Roy Properties.; When the oil decline offset the New Orleans real estate market in the mid-eighties, I got licensed in Series 6,7 and worked as a financial advisor/stockbroker for Thomsen-McKiinnon which eventually was aquired by Prudential Securities. Retiring briefly with four children living at home, I later decided to return to work with my good friend, Sylvia Roy, who had become a manager at Gardner Realtors and have worked there since 2004. We are now Latter and Blum.

My clients have included doctors, lawyers, sports players, and first time homebuyers that I worked vigorously with to obtain first-time financing.; Commercial real estate was my favorite for many years but I have sold homes in all areas of New Orleans which I what I enjoy doing now. I do not take more than three listings at one time now unless I can bring other agents on-board because I feel that individual, personal attention is what every buyer, seller, and lessee needs.; We advertise online, on paper and in person with open houses and appointments any time that is convenient with a seller/buyer. I plan to continue to work for Latter and Blum, which I have found to be a wonderful company with the latest technology available to all agents.
