About Elizabeth
Compass is pleased to welcome Liz Goldhirsch-Ruggie to our Cobble Hill office. Liz has a proven track record specializing in co-op, condo and townhouse sales in Brooklyn’s Landmark communities. After years of representing both buyers and sellers with humor and creativity, she brings a light touch to the home buying process, along with considerable experience in renovation and interior design.
Liz grew up in Brooklyn Heights, went to school in Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope (when not attending school in France), and currently owns a townhouse in the Heights. Her background in the fashion and interior design industries—first with Ralph Lauren and then with Parish-Hadley among others—along with her work on countless high end residential renovations including her own 19th century brownstone, has made her a resource for clients looking for creative approaches to traditional architecture and the best local contractors to realize the plans.
Liz is the mother of two and is active in both her children’s schools. She volunteers at PS8 and Poly Prep functions, has sat on the Grace Church School board and was active on the membership committee at the Heights Casino. For over 25 years Liz has been a ranked tennis champion at the Heights Casino. She is fluent in French.
