An avid sailor and lover of nature, Ella fell in love with Cape Cod during her years of sailing trips from Newport, RI, her home state to the Cape and Islands. A successful career in advertising followed as Ella Inc. became the leading representative of commercial Photographers & Illustrators on the East Coast outside of NYC. The fast pace of working on major advertising campaigns for over 20 years in busy cities around the country eventually led to a desire to change direction and relocate to a kinder and gentler part of the world, so Cape Cod became home in 1999. Having invested in real estate from a young age and with a strong marketing background, a second career as a Real Estate Broker in a naturally beautiful location seemed the ideal fit and has proven to be a wise and enjoyable choice. In 2005, an opportunity presented itself to Ella and her husband Rick to take a two year, 10,000 mile voyage on their boat exploring the Eastern seaboard, Lake Champlain and the Bahamas. They returned to Chatham to renovate their 110 year old cottage, add a major addition to it and enjoy life by the sea.
