Ellen Lesher

I am a California native, born in San Rafael, and grew up in the East Bay. I moved to Sonoma County when I was accepted into the teaching credential program at Sonoma State University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts, teaching credential, and Master of Arts. I enjoyed teaching elementary school for many years at Wilson School in Petaluma and made a lot of great friends.

I obtained my real estate sales license in 2005 and had two professions going for over six years. I retired from teaching in 2012 and am delighted to have joined Compass as a full-time sales associate in their Petaluma office. I love being in real estate, meeting new people, and helping them achieve their real estate dreams.

For the last 30+ years, my husband Dennis and I have lived in Dillon Beach, a special coastal community in Marin County. We enjoy visits from our three grown children and six grandchildren.  

As a licensed real estate agent, I have handled listing and sales transactions all over Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties. I consider myself a real estate area specialist for coastal communities, especially Dillon Beach, Oceana Marin, and Bodega Bay.

I bring my great communication skills, honesty, patience, and sense of humor to the table when it comes to buying and selling real estate. But don't be fooled by my sense of humor; I am an excellent listener, a skilled negotiator, and can get transactions closed.
