About Emily
Emily Nussbaum Tubbs, is a graduate of Drexel University’s College of Media Arts & Design. With a strong background in graphic design and boutique marketing, she brings a highly specialized skill set to all aspects of real estate. She is often referred to as a "human Swiss army knife" due to her ability to handle a wide range of tasks with expert precision.
 
She began her career with Keller Williams in 2008, and joined Compass in January 2020. Having personally participated in hundreds of real estate transactions, Emily is an accomplished agent and prides herself on her business being primarily referral-based and word-of-mouth.

In addition to her individual real estate initiatives, since 2015 Emily has played an integral role in JDT International, a firm specializing in the consultation of Public / Private Partnerships in Urban Planning and Real Estate Development owned by her husband Jeffrey Tubbs. While Jeff focuses on development and construction, Emily typically handles the design, sales, leasing, and management of the projects that they partner on. Most recently - They completed the renovation of a historic Firehouse in South Kensington - turning it into 29 unique apartments + a commercial space. Their work has a philanthropic initiative as well - Jeff is the co-founder of Make the World Better Foundation (mtwb.org), a non profit that is dedicated to revitalizing public spaces for children in Philadelphia. (Fun Fact - a portion of every home Emily sells will be donated to MTWB's revitalization efforts.)

On a personal note, Emily is a wife as well as a mom of two young kiddos (Van + Zoe). They currently live in South Kensington, in a five-unit building that she designed/built with Jeff in 2020. Although deeply invested and rooted in the Riverwards area - and it will always have a special place in their heart - The Tubbs Family just started building their "forever" home on a 15 acre gentleman's farm in Mount Laurel, NJ. During the summer - you will find them happily crabbing on the bay in Fenwick Island, Delaware
