"My search a home was protracted. Emily was immensely patient with my stop-and-start approach to hunting, and kept me optimistic throughout the 3-year process.
I feel very fortunate to have found a realtor who, not demonstrated patience and fortitude, but had a solid handle on my requirements. As an interior designer, I was picky about aesthetics, and Emily understood that. She never directed to me to see an apartment that didn't comply with my "must-haves."
The home I ultimately ended up purchasing was one she encouraged me to look at. My first instinct was that it might be too small, but by that point, she knew what I liked better than I did. She was 100% spot on that the apartment was the right fit for me.
Once I was in with sellers, the value that Emily brought to the transaction became even clearer. She counseled me wisely, always with frankness and decisiveness. Emily also kept pressure on other parties to meet our timeline.
I'm immensely grateful to her seeing me through my first experience with buying a home! "

"I worked with Emily Shepodd on my condo purchase. Emily was a terrific advocate me and I am endlessly grateful for her help. When I started looking a condo I heard one of two things from my friends who had already gone through the home buying process: Either, "You don't really need a broker," or "You kind of have to have a broker, but they don't do that much you." That was 100% the opposite of my experience.
I never could have made it through this process without Emily, and she was enormously helpful at every stage from the search to the offer to the, inspection, and board application to the down-to-the-wire negotiations we had to with the sellers after an unexpected situation with the building's gas arose. Without Emily's expertise and handholding, I probably would have lost my mind and maybe the condo too.
Emily was terrific at her job, she was honest and warm, and everyone she recommended was hyper-competent and trustworthy. The downside of having found and bought a property I love is that I won't get to work with her again anytime soon."
