About Emily
Raised in South Orange and now proudly living in Maplewood, Emily Stanton brings lifelong local insight and genuine community connection to her real estate practice. A product of the South Orange–Maplewood school system, she offers clients an insider’s perspective on what makes these towns such special places to call home, from their tree-lined streets and architectural character to their vibrant downtowns and welcoming spirit.

Before beginning her career in real estate, Emily built a professional foundation in communications and research, developing strong skills in storytelling, client service, and attention to detail, all of which now inform her approach to real estate. She thrives in the fast-paced local real estate market, helping clients make confident, informed decisions and guiding them through every step of the buying or selling process with care and clarity to achieve successful results.

A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Emily also brings a design-driven perspective to her work, with a keen appreciation for how style, presentation, and flow can shape the way a home is perceived. These combined skills allow her to help clients see both the beauty and the potential in every property.

As a member of The DeCicco Group at Compass Short Hills, Emily is proud to be part of one of the region’s most respected real estate teams, known for their deep community roots and market expertise across Essex, Union, and Morris counties. She is a member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors and the Garden State Multiple Listing Service.

When she’s not working with clients, Emily enjoys tennis, exploring new travel destinations, spending time at the beach, and being out and about in Maplewood with her dog, Merlin.
