About Emma

"Emma made every step of this process easy, had an answer for every question, got us a great deal both buying and selling, and fully understood what we were looking for immediately after we met her.
I highly recommend her!" - Max Nichols, client

Having closed over +100 transactions and with nearly a decade of experience navigating the Greater Puget Sound area real estate market, my foundational approach to real estate is a threefold process:

Preparation - With data-driven insight, I help my buyer and seller clients to set expectations and understand the potential challenges they face while navigating the market (so we can succeed!). From getting realistic financing numbers from market-competitive lender referrals to going over addenda so you understand the legal ins and outs of a purchase and sale agreement and contingencies, I want you to feel confident and experience no surprises in the process.

Rapport - Relationships sell houses. I frequently get chances to have a go at re-submitting a winning offer in a multiple offer situation or have our (less competitive) offer selected because a listing broker has been impressed by my communication, professionalism, and approach. Brokers want to work with me, which means we can be more successful and assure smooth transactions.

Referrals - Do we need a pre-inspection by offer submittal or an electrician/plumber/asbestos testing during our short inspection period? My rolodex of professionals can make that happen. I'm always there to support sellers as they get their properties market-ready and for buyers after they have closed on their new homes. I dedicate time to monitoring realistic costs for repairs and improvements, so I can assist when bids come in.

With a unique background in marketing, public planning with a focus on transportation, and Masters in Cultural Anthropology, I understand 'people' -- which matters more in real estate than most realize! I employ all of those skills (and multitasking) every day on the job.

I also take my gardening very seriously, pursuing a Master Gardener's certification, and working hard to maintain my personal garden in Woodinville and advise clients on the best ways to enhance the value and enjoyment of their own landscaping.
